ELDokan Return Policy

Items shipped from ELDokan can be returned within 15 days of receipt of shipment in most cases. Items that were received damaged, defective, used, missing parts or not as described could be returned within 30 days of receipt of shipment. Some products have different policies or requirements associated with them.

Overview

Free, easy returns on thousand of items .
You may return most new, unopened items sold and fulfilled by ELDokan within 30 days of delivery for a full refund

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Book with obvious signs of use
  • CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is will not returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Refunds Estimates

When you return an item in ELDokan, your refund amount and refund method may vary. Your refund and how your refund is issued may differ based on the condition of the item, how long you’ve had the item, and how the item was purchased.

Where’s My Refund?

You can check the payment method that was refunded and the status of your refund in Your Orders.

Note: After the courier has received your item, it can take up to one week for us to receive and process your return. It may take up to two weeks for Marketplace Seller orders. After the return is processed it may take 5 to 7 business days for the refund to show on your payment card statement.

If your refund status is not showing as refunded in Your Account, and the processing time for your payment method has passed, you can contact us for further assistance.

If your refund status shows as refunded in Your Account, and the standard time-frame as mentioned above has passed and you have still not received the refund, please contact your bank for more information.

How Refunds Are Issued

When returning an item you can choose your preferred refund method in the Online Returns Center.

Refund Without Return

ELDokan may determine that a refund can be issued without requiring a return. If you are not required to send your item back for a refund, you will be notified in the Online Returns Center or by a Customer Service Associate.

Partial Refunds or Restocking Fees

Items in original condition past the return window* 80% of the item’s price
CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, cassette tapes, or vinyl records that were opened (taken out of its plastic wrap) 50% of the item’s price
Open software or video games for reasons not due to an I-Technology or seller error 0% of the item’s price

*For most items the return window is 15 days from delivery date. To check the return window for an item you have ordered, go to Your Orders and click Return or Replace Items.

Computers and Electronics

* New desktop, laptops, or tablets (excluding Kindle E-readers) purchased from I-Technology that did not start when they arrived, arrived in damaged condition, or are still in an unopened box can be returned for a full refund within 15 days of purchase.

* New desktop, laptops, or tablets purchased from I-Technology that are still in an unopened box can be returned for a full refund within 15 days of purchase.

* Any returned desktop, laptop or tablet that is damaged through customer misuse, is missing parts, or is in unsellable condition due to customer tampering may result in the customer being charged a higher restocking fee based on the condition of the product.

* Outside the 15 days return period, customer requests to return such products because they are not working should be directed to the customer service to assess the claimed fault and decide if a refund is appropriate.

* Products purchased from Marketplace sellers are subject to the returns policy of the individual seller.

Video Games

* Video games can be returned unopened for a full refund within 15 days of purchase. Returned video games that are activated, used, or missing parts will be rejected.

Collectibles (sports & entertainment)

*If you selected self-ship shipping option, you must return collectible items with a value of 700 EGP or more using a trackable method.

* All product packaging (boxes, manuals, warranty cards, etc.) and certificates of authenticity, grading, and appraisal must be returned with the item.

* Any items returned without original documentation will be rejected.

* Before shipping a return, photograph the item for your records. All products shall be returned in their original condition, with their packaging intact.

Digital Products

* Games, software downloads, books purchased from the Kindle Store and purchases from the ELDokan Appstore for Android are not returnable after purchase.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at {email address} and send your item to: {physical address}.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to: {physical address}.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
